Urban Arts

"From Scratch & Beatbox" explores the diversity of movements rooted in different cultures and skillfully interweaves them with musical sounds and the art of painting.

How can the invisible lines of a choreography be visualized? To what extent can urban dance and painting contribute to opening up new perspectives? The focus is on the transformation of basic steps into an individual image, while the invisible traces and fleeting movements of the dance are transferred to paper or canvas.

From and With:

Musical support (beatbox): Carlos Malcom Howard

Choreographer, director and performer: Rymon Zacharei

Dramaturgy: Alen Fischer and Farid Baroug

Light designer: Miracle Laackmann
