For an intense, all-encompassing experience, it is not the performance of the technology that is decisive, but how well the narrative can be embedded in the viewer's perceptual experience. Together with director Thomas Krupa (e.g. "Die Wand (360°)"), video artist MarioSimon (e.g. "Borderline Prozession") and the artistic director of the storyLab kiU Harald Opel (e.g. page21), we will discuss the potential of the perceptible interplay between cognition and immersion.

This edition of kiU Talk! was organized in cooperation with the project page21, the immersive space as a walk-in virtual reality installation in the Dortmunder U.

4.00 - 5.30 pm: Presentation of the installation "Die Wand 360°" under the fulldome and in VR

6.00 - 7.00 pm: Panel with Thomas Krupa, Mario Simon and Harald Opel, moderated by Tobias Bieseke

8.00 - 9.30 pm: Presentation of the installation "Die Wand 360°" under the fulldome and in VR
