Permeable Bodies uses contemporary circus, dance and live sound in a mobilé installation to describe a rapprochement between two very different bodies: That of a human being and that of a stone. An oversized mobilé made of metal rods and granite stones slowly grows together and visualizes the clash between gravity and weightlessness, ruthlessness and tenderness. Its individual parts are examined for their characteristics by two performers and treated with particular care and attention. Behind this is the question of a new value of things in an anthropocentric world that is heading towards its own destruction through overconsumption and mass production.
