The workshop ‘Storytelling in Motion - Designing Digital Narrative Worlds’ is aimed at art educators and people from the art and cultural sector who are interested in digital possibilities of art education. It is one of two workshops offered as part of the Page 21 project.
The aim of both workshops is to provide practical approaches to digital art education in order to develop creative and appealing content for museums and exhibitions. The workshop ‘Storytelling in motion - creating digital narrative worlds’ uses easily accessible digital tools such as the augmented reality application Artivive and the visual programming tool ScratchJr to show how interactive storytelling can be designed around works of art. The workshop ‘Smartphone as a creative tool - digital aesthetics in art education’ explores the potential of the smartphone as a creative medium in the field of tension between digital aesthetics, physical interaction and innovative mediation strategies.
