From and with

Nils Andersch is an artist who has been deeply rooted in the urban art and event scene for decades. Even before the implementation of the TUAM1 project at kitev, he had already realized numerous projects in the Ruhr area and internationally in responsible positions in various associations for the promotion of art (Beatplantation e.V., Simama e.V., Denkodrom e.V., Port e.V.). In the field of urban art, the “Waende Südost” project is particularly noteworthy, in which he and 20 other artists from around the world created a 3.5-kilometer-long mural on the noise barriers of the A40 motorway in Essen's southeast district in 2012, as well as exchange projects with Africa, e.g., participation in the “Street Art Caravan Morocco” in 2016.
Nils has been working as an artist since 1998, teaming up with Vite at kitev since 2022.

Koops from Dortmund:

Village e.V. is an innovative organization that connects local and international communities for a better future. We are committed to equal opportunities in education, quality of life, and artistic and creative development—regardless of origin, gender, religion, or social status, in Germany and worldwide. Through the exchange of experiences, artistic productions, and interventions, we promote a society based on solidarity, humanity, and transculturalism.

Trash/Treasure is an interdisciplinary multimedia artist from Tel Aviv who lives and works in NRW(Cologne and Dortmund). In her mixed media works, she is interested in questions that have endless answers. She considers hands-on teaching of artistic techniques and the promotion of creativity to be a very important strategy for personal and social resilience.

About TUAM 2

The Oberhausen train station tower will be linked to the surrounding urban landscapes and become a magnet for national and international artists and their audiences. TUAM 2 combines a wide variety of genres, disciplines, nature, and culture emerging from the local and global art scene and presents itself in a diverse year-round series of events that are as interdisciplinary as they are innovative.
With TUAM 2, we are boosting the appeal of our location by presenting local and international artists from many areas of the new arts (street art, digital art, street performance, and urban dance) and creating a platform for young and established artists alike.
