A group of people live completely self-sufficiently, detached from the rest of the world, in a sphere whose coordinates can no longer be found. They have come to terms with their life in seclusion until one day two traveling salesmen arrive. They sell them the technology that enables them to communicate with the other spheres. Now they can order whatever makes their lives easier and more beautiful. However, it is no coincidence that the question arises at some point: Does communication equal civilization?
With "Essence", URBANATIX enters the terrain of the New Circus for the first time with its own tour production. The ensemble of ten multi-talented performers from the street and artistic scene as well as music and drama explore essential questions of life together.
