Watch Me Kill My Language is an interactive audiovisual installation in which visitors can witness live how an AI loses its mind. The well-known phenomenon of the digital feedback loop, in which information can confirm itself, can be experienced in a very concrete way. Visitors can talk to a specially programmed AI that loses itself deeper and deeper in its own world.
This is accompanied by impressive visuals and an AI-based soundtrack that makes the digital decay even more striking and emotional. Every question visitors ask the AI determines the course of the installation, and they can witness how their ideas take on a life of their own. The installation runs continuously, and visitors can come and go at any time. Guests can talk to the AI for a minute or an hour, just as they wish.
On display are digital dream worlds of disintegrating letters that float through the room, swirling and recombining. They vividly depict the AI's world of thoughts. The music begins as a gently enveloping soundscape that gradually disintegrates and finally sinks completely into digital chaos. AI, sound, and image are closely coordinated, interacting with each other and telling a story together.
