From June 3 to 6, 2021, the fourth edition of the Ruhr Games will once again be one of the most successful highlights of the Ruhr metropolis, taking place on the playing fields, tracks, boards and stages. At the Ruhrstadion area in Bochum, this time there will also be a focus on electronic music, VR art and art bars.
Skateboarders and sports acrobats, BMX skills and judoka tradition, urban dance and pole vaulting, preliminary rounds and finals: the Ruhr Games put the athletes and their performances in absolute focus. The compact area at the traditional Ruhrstadion in Bochum will be the venue for the majority of the 240 competitions for bronze, silver and gold.
The urban setting is also ideal for the scene-typical linking of sport with modern art forms: The Ruhr Games are the innovative platform for urban art artists and creatives as well as a place of inspiration and lively exchange for the young guests. Disciplines such as graffiti, urban dance, digital arts and tape art can be experienced here on an international level and can also be tried out directly.
