How would you describe yourself and your work to an alien?
"Hip means to know, it's a form of intelligence. To be hip is to be up-date and relevant. Hop is a form of movement. You can't just observe a hop, you got to hop up and do it." But first of all a big hug and a: "Welcome" to the alien.
What is your drive to create art?
Urban Art creates identity.
What do you love most in the Ruhr region in general?
The buddy mentality.

Where/when did you have your best cultural experience?
1995 at the first Breaking Battle in Herne. Then in 2004 at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh - where we won all the awards with the first dance theater production "Rumble" by the company Renegade: Best Physical Theatre Production / The Guardian, Fringe First, Herald Angel. Unforgettable!
Where do you like to go out to eat & drink?
Wherever there is oriental Ruhr cuisine.
