We are going into the fourth sponsorship round!

There are great news, because the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is once again providing 1.5 million euros for your artistic projects in the fields of digital arts, urban arts, new circus and electronic music culture in the Ruhr region for the year 2025.

Urban discovery with: Ahmat Antarat

Ahmad Antarat is a musician, DJ, visual artist and event organizer. Ahmad associates the Ruhr region with diversity, both in terms of cities and people. Through his work as an artist and cultural operator, Ahmad also wants to bring a diverse range of people together.

The "Key Bâb" event series takes place every three months

"Key Bâb" celebrates diversity in the club scene

"Key Bâb" aims to open doors for marginalized groups: With the "Key Bâb" event series, the project team wants to act like a key into event spaces that have so far tended to be homogeneously characterized by the majority society. The second event in the series will take place on December 1st at the Schlegel Kultur Club in Bochum.

The first NEW TALENTS RUHR artistic camp will take place in summer 2024 and will include a two-year mentoring program for young talents in the Ruhr region.

In search of young talents

As part of the NEW TALENTS RUHR program, young creative people from eleven cities in the Ruhr region will have the opportunity to get a taste of various artistic disciplines, try out their skills and receive professional training. The second talent day will take place on December 3, 2023 at the Theater im Depot in Dortmund.

A PREMIERE FOR THE RUHR REGION: THE FESTIVAL FOR CONTEMPORARY CIRCUS "ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS" WILL BE PRESENTED IN FIVE DIFFERENT CITIES IN THE RUHR REGION FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR.

Circus magic in the Ruhr region

The international festival for contemporary circus "La Nuit du Cirque" is entering its third round this year. From November 17 to 19, 2023, the German edition "Zeit für Zirkus" will take place all over Germany. The Ruhr region will be represented with several cities as venues.
